huh? I spoke to IDA today, and their comment is that the SIP grant is only eligible if we purchase the services from the 3 IDA appointed vendors – iCell, Singtel & DP Bureau and if we purchase services from other vendors, we are not eligible for the grant. Dont think Ace Solutions is an appointed vendor?

Hi Theo,
Ace Solutions appers to be one of SingTel’s reseller, their website states that they are SingTel’s Authorised Channel Partner. Thus when they offer SingTel packages, they are selling them on behalf of SingTel.
In fact, for DP Bureau; their web hosting and web design packages are done by another company called New Media Express. Perhaps the 3 appointed vendors are allowed to choose external partners who can combines their services into a complete Broadband+Hosting+Website package.
How is your grant application coming along? Share your experience here so that more SMEs can benefit too. Cheers!
